About WallStPal

WallStPal turns public SEC filings into plain English: what company insiders buy and sell, and what the biggest funds hold.

WallStPal is a free site about the public record of the stock market. Every day we read the forms that company insiders and large investment managers file with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and we turn them into tables and short sentences anyone can follow.

What you will find here

  • Insider trades from Form 4: open-market purchases and sales by officers, directors and 10% owners, for companies large and small.
  • Fund holdings from Form 13F: what well-known funds owned at the end of each quarter, and what changed.
  • Guides and calculators that explain the filings and the math behind investing.

What we believe

Numbers should come with their source. Next to every figure we show where it came from and when, and we link to the original filing so you can check it yourself. We do not predict prices or tell anyone what to buy.

How we are paid

WallStPal is free to read. We plan to cover our costs with advertising and, later, clearly labeled partner links. Advertisers do not influence what we publish. See our advertising disclosure.
